Rain in forecast. No rain No show.

I had a mow scheduled for 33 Stoughton Road Dedham Mass 02026 on August 17th. I received a message saying that it was going to rain and it would be delayed.

It did not rain however and nobody showed. I received the exact same message today. Rain is happening today therefore it will not be mowed. That is why they probably should have showed up yesterday because it did not rain.

I will now be a minimum of 3 days past when I asked for the mow and would like some type of compensation.

I used to use your company a few years back and ran into this problem over and over again therefore I stopped using the service. Hopefully that doesn't happen again.

They have abruptly stopped shoveling sidewalks, yet charged me for it.

Plowz And Mowz - They have abruptly stopped shoveling sidewalks, yet charged me for it.
The only removed snow from 3 ft of my garage door. Did not do sidewalks, saying they dont do them , yet they charged me for them . 144.00 for 3 ft in front of my garage. On their website, snow shoveling is offered.

I persisted in speaking with customer service and finally received a resolution to this. They came and completed the work. However, this was such a stressful experience, I will never use this company again.

Terrible service. Do not use

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Ive had issues every time Ive tried to use them. Their turn around time is HOURS even for not busy days. Their services have always been bad. after this time I will never use them again. They missed plowing part of my driveway, left inches of snow over the entire thing and did a lot of property damage to my lawn. When contacting customer support Ive never gotten good service. They dont care. After this terrible job I got a glorified oh well not our problem. Save your money, your property and your sanity. Id rather dig through feet of snow with a teaspoon than use them again.

Incomplete service

I ordered snow removal online from Plows and Mows. I filled out the online form: front sidewalk 20.00 Sidewalk to house 20.00 Side sidewalk 20.00 Driveway 60.00 They only did 3ft in from of garage. They said they dont do sidewalks, yet charged me 144.00. I am furious as they just did my sidewalks last week!

Lack of communication and unprofessional contractors

Requested a job to be completed a full 24 hours prior, and they found someone who "supposedly accepted" the job, and they never showed up. The issue is this happens more often than not. The representatives are not competent in providing details of the ETA or the cause for the delay. Apparently they have no vetting process for their laborers, who can just not show for a job that they accepted.

Horrible service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE I scheduled a snow plow a day before our first big storm. It was immediately assigned to a service provider. I now have 10 of snow and have been waiting almost 24 hrs for somebody to show up to plow. Their call center is located in India and their go to response is always were sorry for the delay. We will get right back to you soon. And of course they never do. Save yourself the aggravation, call somebody else.

Sounds like a great idea, but Plowz and Mowz is a horrible company

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I wanted Plowz &;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; Mowz to succeed. I gave them 3 years to prove themselves and they have been singularly consistent in one thing - incompetence. From missed mows (the usual go to excuse given for the last year has been provider had an equipment issue), to not responding for hours, to not raking my lawn for the leaves service I hired and paid them for, to plows not showing up, to missing scheduled day after day after day (yes, not scheduled time but scheduled DAYS) Plowz & Mowz has almost been a clinical demonstration on how incompetence can somehow against all odds still run a terrible business. Let me show you a review I had written for the lead removal I hired them for that I didnt post to give you just a GLIMPSE into the train wreck that is Plowz & Mowz: This is a total scam. They sat on my $200.00+ for leaf removal for 2.5 weeks. They claimed the job was assigned 6 times and then 6 times it was delayed. Meanwhile we went from fall to winter. We are now getting 12 of snow on top of the leaves in my yard and I STILL have not received my money back they took for the job though the job is cancelled. Contacting attorney general, department of commerce and the CFPB. UPDATE: they finally did have someone out and clean my leaves... 4 1/2 months after the date that I had hired them for. Literally 137 days late for their appointment. They gave me 30% off for my trouble Every single thing I am saying can be backed up with email after email after email after email from them - always with an excuse. Tonight I finally got fed up and said no more and cancelled my (once again missed) mow, cancelled my weekly mowing service with them and am now taking to the internet as an evangelist against the rampant, nonsensical, dubious scam and ripoff that is Plowz & Mowz in the hopes that I can help someone much wiser than myself who actually reads reviews on these clowns to not waste their time, money and patience hiring them. I literally cant think of ANYTHING that I can say that will even scratch the surface on just how bad of a company this is - from bad customer service to inconsistent results to just not caring one bit about the damaged clients, driveways and lawns that they leave in their wake. I guess the Better Business Bureau said it best when they REVOKED Plowz & Mowz accreditation. Please for the love of God, do yourself a favor and AVOID this company at all costs. Tear up your lawn and rip up your driveway if you must - I promise you, it is better than the horrible experience that Plowz & Mowz will put you through! Plowz & Mowz - simply put - does not value or respect its customers.

Poor services all around

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Worst service Ive used. Every week there is a new problem from broken gutters that have either been stepped on, mowed over, sections of lawn not cut, and a fertilizer job that applied streaks and designs over a small portion of my lawn that I was charged for. The Director Billy attempted to resolve and didnt follow through, Brett the customer service representative is absolutely awful. More photos available but limit the amount I can post Dont wish this service in your worst enemy.

Avoid this service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I called this service four times to plow my lot. On two occasions, one being this morning, they screwed me. They begin by taking the order, offering 'ASAP' as an option, communicate that they have found a contractor and promise a time when the contractor will arrive, then, they billed it. When the contractor doesn't arrive and you try to communicate through chat, they promise a new arrival time. When that doesn't happen, they apologize, then act like they contacted another contractor and they are on their way. This is two hours after making the initial order. The reality is, they promise that a contractor is on the way, but are waiting for contractors to take the job and that may or may not happen. The whole game is falsely promoted as an efficient service operation...it is not!! Avoid at all cost unless you want to get the run around.

AVOID!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Had a blizzard and needed the driveway plowed and cars dug out so I could go to work. Put in a request and they billed me 115 dollars. Guy shows up and says he doesn't shovel around cars and that I'm going to have to dig out my two cars before he finishes the job. He plowed 10 % of the edge of my driveway and charged me 115??! When I told him I wouldn't have called if I didn't need the cars dug out guy just leaves. Customer service reps refused to refund me or compromise with me in any way. Now I'm 115 dollars poorer and my driveway is still buried. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

MISLEADING ADVERTISING

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
This company mailed a promotion to myself and my neighbors advertising a pre-season special of $ 100.00 a month for 5 months for 3 stall garage. However, when I contacted him to get snow removal services he said that my driveway was "longer" and that it required a payment of $ 140.00 per month, which would be a 40% increase over the promotion price he mailed to us and our neighbors. The promotion is misleading because it should have stated that the price depended on the length of the driveway. Because this criteria was not included in the advertising it constitutes false and misleading advertising.
